Journal Week 5

On 22 June, 2010, the showing slide interview pictures in the last time. Everyone felt enjoy and excited their pictures. Someone was happiness, bashfulness, scaring with their manner and acting. Instantly, my pictures appeared on the projector. Oh‼ My picture was not beautiful but I had white skin over.

Starting in that course, teacher taught about writing etiquette to send email hers.
The she moved on to write what you recall about presentations last week? After that, teacher spoke critical and describable about presentation last week for each group. Overall image of groups were good and excellent presentation, so she mentioned the detailed of presentation tip and Interview issues for apply job in the future. The last time, she explained making blog and the principle of design such as balance, unity, dominance, contrast, and etc. Today in the class, I feel serious a little bit because my blog is still not perfect; it’s still not have picture and not decorate anyhow. However, I must speed up my work (blog) very fast to appear my blog good looking and perfect more than this.
On 24 June, 2010. The instructor talked about the agenda of deadline works and she was critical each blog. There was group work about business manner, and organization chart to present the role play next Thursday.

Journal Week 4

Being the business more and more‼ What is Marketing Strategy? You know‼ This week began into marketer and everyone was becoming businessmen and businesswomen. Wow‼ It was very funny and interested. Teacher taught about Marketing Mix Strategy (4P’s) and explain it; which it has 4 strategies as Product, Price, Place, and Promotion). Each brand has product strategy for specific brand, so product strategy was consist of (R&D, service, marketing, support, warranty, packaging). After that she said that product management of Phillip Kotler which included :
-Create customer value (what does a consumer want? & What does a product mean to him?) -Positioning (price, image, service, design, style, and quality) -Branding (promise, brand, value, slogan, logo). The most important, Phillip Kotler said that if you nail positioning and targeting, the rest falls into place.
Finally, there was group work which you acted for impromptu job interview and we must have 3 interviewers, 2 applicants. The last time, the interviewers must explain why you choose a particular candidate to be ready showing next class.

On 17 June, 2010; Special Time. Welcome to “Job Interview” time of Englishers. Today, our class became office, company, hotel, and etc; because we had impromptu job interview. The first group was Mr. Champ to apply job in Thai Airline. They presented well that both of speaking and acting truthfully. My group was the third group that we interviewed Receptionist in the Laguna Hotel. I am a candidate to apply job. I felt excited and enjoy it, then, other groups presented interesting and I like it too. I think that, job interview in this course had many advantages and Englishes can use this experience to apply job in the future.

What did I learn from the VictoriasSecret.Com?

Victoria’s secret. What is it? I don’t know and don’t hear about Victoria brand so I suspect it and search on internet. As soon as I find it on web Victoriasecret.com, then I knew that it is lingerie brand. Victoria’s secret used Positioning Strategy to expand lingerie marketing. There Ken Weil is Vice President New Media (web) of Victoria’s secret, and he is a veteran of internet professional services. Not a long time, Victoria’s secret becomes the leader online brand. In web site has video present of company, fashion show, and catalogue brands. The most important, the company brings the fashion show to leading up newspaper and TV for advertising brand. Amazon and PayPal are web site online that their customers well-know. They bring Heidi Klum supermodel to talking about different swimsuit designs to customers on video image of their web site and made purchases. The company makes to link different sales channels, then they added the order from catalogue on web site for customers and shoppers entered their products by E-commerce service.
Finally, Victoria’s secret becomes the leader into strong growth brand for the online division, so we can see it from increasing average order size and purchase rate.

Journal Week 3

On 8, June 2010.That week, I felt very serious to choose Brands for make my blog between LOTUS AUTOMOBILE and PEUGEOT AUTOMOBILE, because last class, the teacher showed 7 blogs of students in this course. These blogs were designed beautiful, interested. I think that my friends made perfectly their blogs. I began feeling worried a little bit about my blog because I don’t have my brand. After that, teacher moved on to present in each group about Victoria’s Secret to discuss last class; and then, teacher taught about What are the successful FACTORS of Victoria’s secret? Next, she asked a question that “What DO YOU THINK you wear?” I think that we wore it to look brand product. Continually, she explained that people wore it to look product value such as Trendy, smart, cool, modern. Last time, the teacher ordered an assignment page 3-4 about Web Launch and deadline on 17, June 2010.

On10, June 2010. That class, the instructor elucidated about Business Project Guideline as agenda, blog evaluation, rationale, marketing strategies, and other ones. The students must search these databases to bring it paraphrasing and post on your blogs. I felt seriously about searching the information of brand because some information find difficult to result choosing some brand for me. Lastly, I hope that I could choose my brand sooner or later.

Journal Week 2

That class has 8 presenters to show Brand Products. They were volunteers and my friends to study in this course. The modeling can walk as same as the professional model, so everyone in that class felt enjoy and excited of seeing the show. We share idea with our classmates between the words “Business” and “Trade” What do you think about? I think, there are many words to relate business obviously as buying, selling, benefit, profit, and etc. The heart of business is “NEED”. Then it’s in women’s bag to following Maslow’s Theory. He separated five needs system of human is Basic (physiological), Safety, Belonging, Ego-status, and Self-actualization.
The last time, students in each group share idea and discuss in the article “Victoria’s Secret” to present next class.

My First Journal

Try and Try again, success in my first step for the first time online my blog. I believe in one’s proverb is “Where there's a will, there's a way”. Then, I bring this proverb to make my blog and post my first journal. The first class, I don’t go to my class (Eng 380 “English for International Trade” subject) because I had a register problem in this course, then I must manage with my problem before I will go to next class. Lastly, I missed an opportunity to listen outline in this class so I don’t know the detail of this subject.After that, I asked the outline with my friends for explain to me. My friends said that the instructor is very kind, good temper, not serious, and the atmosphere in the classroom was very attractive for their study. My first assignment is building one blog from www.blogger.com by your owner.
